BASF surveyed turf pros and found that they consider themselves environmental stewards and are continually seeking ways to minimize their impact on the environment.  

BASF released new flexible packaging—the first of its kind in the industry—to help professionals meet that objective. The new packaging reduces the amount of plastic introduced into the waste stream by 60 percent compared to traditional hard-plastic jugs. 

The first flexible containers in the turf industry will contain granular formulated Drive® 75 DF herbicide from BASF with package dimensions of 6″L x 2″W x 10″H. 

BASF will begin shipping the product in this new packaging in 2Q 2008. The packaging will ship with surveys so turf professionals can offer their feedback on this new concept.
