FarmLinks helps build rapport between golf course supers and assistant supers
I spent the entire week of June 9th to the 13th at FarmLinks with my counter part from Texas…Mr. Travis Klosterboer.

As always the golf course superintendents in attendance were blown away with the Experience. We definitely are building strong relationships with those who come to FarmLinks—golf course superintendents really enjoy talking and learning about turf from our own BASF’s on-site staffer Brian Thompson. He’s experience and knowledge as a former super, makes him a great resource for customers. I opted to bring in a few assistant golf course superintendents from a couple of high-end courses. From the golf course superintendents’ standpoint, it gives them an opportunity to reward and train their guys. I really enjoyed my time with these up and coming assistant supers.

Learn new turf maintenance tricks from BASF veterans at FarmLinks
It is always a learning experience for me when I attend with my BASF turf counterparts. Lately that has been Travis Klosterboer and Willie Pennington. During our presentations, they had a lot of input on the turf business, products and topics of agronomy. I always walk away with new and impelling information about the turf industry and the customers we strive so hard to serve.

High-end golf courses using Trinity fungicide to combat Zoysia Patch
Three of the golf course superintendents from high-end courses had Zoysia fairway and I am helping them with some fall trials using Trinity fungicide.

Chenal Country Club, a 36-hole golf course, has told me that they will switch to Trinity after having consulted with peers that have had success with Trinity this year.
Well respected and experienced golf course superintendent, Joe Kennedy of the Legends Club in Nashville, Tenn., did a presentation in Kentucky last week and promoted Trinity as the best new Zoysia Patch product in the market. Thanks Joe for your support—I am glad that you are looking to share your success by introducing other turf managers to Trinity!

On a humorous note, my wife bought me paint for Father’s Day to paint the house—a not so subtle gift, ha-ha. So, it looks like I’ll be doing that when I’m on vacation.
