Boston Sports are on top of the World
Top-of-the-morn'in from the CITY OF CHAMPIONS!!! Yes that's right another Boston team has won a World Championship! Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics—and yes—the Red Sox are in first place again with the Evil Empire (Yankees) taking the year off. And this Championship run started at the same time I joined BASF... we are living the dream in the city of champions.
University of Massachusetts Field Day—presents turf research findings 
The UMASS Field Day was an educational experience that featured new research findings about disease resistance in turf.
I attended the University of Massachusetts turf school field day last week with Tom Hill and Kyle Miller. The UMASS program has been revitalized by several new professors and a new turf research facility. It was an interesting day viewing the current research at UMASS.
Dr. Geuhwa Jung speaks to the UMASS Field Day audience about turf disease resistance in bentgrass and ryegrass and how these findings may effect the turf industry.
Humidity equals turf disease
This year's New England weather is creating weed and disease pressure—the moisture and humidity will not let golf course superintendents miss a spray from now to the end of summer. We've had thunderstorms and high humidity for the last week with temperatures expected in the upper 80's all week.
