BASF is launching broad-spectrum Honor™ fungicide to help superintendents maximize disease control applications and add playability to greens

Honor™ fungicide is coming and will provide control of anthracnose, dollar spot and patch diseases. Honor is a combination of two highly effective active ingredients — boscalid, the active in Emerald® fungicide and pyraclostrobin the active in Insignia® fungicide. A broad-spectrum fungicide that controls the industry's most prevalent diseases, Honor also provides playability to your golf course greens and fairways. It will be available in a 3lb container; 6 x 3lb case.

Tower® herbicide provides turf professionals with new active ingredient

BASF Turf & Ornamentals is also launching Tower® herbicide, a liquid, preemergent product that gives golf course superintendents broad-spectrum control of small-seeded broadleaves, grasses and sedges, including goosegrass and yellow nutsedge. Launched in 2008 for ornamentals and landscape use, Tower herbicide's active ingredient, dimethenamid-p, is a new active ingredient in the turf market. An EC formulation, Tower will be packaged in a 5 x 1 gal, and 4 x 0.5 gal containers.

Both products are on sale October 1. Call your local BASF rep to learn more (click to download sales territory map).
