NFL season just around the corner
In the midst of the Orioles hiring their latest manager, Bucky Showalter, many Baltimore sports fans are anxiously awaiting the start of the NFL season. "Convection oven" syndrome bakes turfgrass roots
Enough of the weather reports, we all know it's been brutal and will be again next week. This summer's weather has resulted in the "convection oven" syndrome (my term and I like it) baking the roots from the soil outward. Rutgers Turfgrass Field Day
Attended the Rutgers Field days and was surprised by how many numbered compounds were out in plots by everyone. One notable site was a Pythium plot over run by goose grass everywhere the turf was killed by pythium. Thought that was very interesting to see in controlled disease control plot.
This week the Penn State Field days, followed by vacation.
Everyone have a great week.
