New England clam chowdaaaah

Whew, for a while the universe was tipped in an awkward position.  Baltimore O's in first place in the AL east!!  But as the farmers used to say...the cream always rises to the top.  And when you're New England Clam Chowdaaaah that means the Red Sox are moving up in the standings quicker than a New York minute.

Weather patterns create disease challenges

Speaking of NY, the evil empire stinks this year.  The Red Sox, like everyone just had to adjust to this crazy weather pattern.  March saw 80 degrees, April warm and very dry, May seasonable and rain, until Memorial weekend that felt like the fourth of July with unseasonable Hot, Humid weather.  With this weather pattern, it is very tough to model or plan cultural practices and chemical applications.

The exceptional weather has many golf courses spraying on a 7-10 day schedule trying not to let disease conditions get too far ahead of them.  You name the disease and it has been active over the last 3 weeks.
