Protect your turfgrass from summer stress

It’s no secret this time of year is especially stressful for turfgrass (and turf managers). That’s why many turf professionals fear the roughly 100 day span between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Disease pressure, high traffic, extreme heat, humidity, and drought can all stress turfgrass during this period.
Make the Hottest 100 Days of Summer a little less stress filled
Though superintendents can’t control the weather, they do have the solutions available to help take the stress off their turfgrass.
BASF research shows that pyraclostrobin—the active ingredient in Insignia® SC and Honor® IntrinsicTM brand fungicides—enhances many physiological processes in plants, enabling turfgrass to withstand disease and environmental stresses, including drought, moisture, temperature extremes, as well as mechanical stress, such as aerification.
