Turf professionals, when it comes to claims about disease control and plant health you sometimes don’t know what to believe. Well we sometimes don’t either, and we can’t sit still any longer. Some of the key trade publications we all read have featured news and advertising from companies making plant health claims.
Seeing is believing. Ask the people of Missouri. Residents of the Show Me State get right to the heart of the matter. If you are being told a product has plant health on the label, make them show it to you and also ask them to show you the research that proves the claim.
At the top of page 1 of the labels Intrinsic™ brand fungicides from BASF you can clearly read that the products are for disease control and plant health. That is how we define plant health on the label – it’s actually on the BASF product labels. Don’t let someone give you the Jedi mind trick on that.
As for research, BASF has 57 pages of facts and data the back up our disease control and plant health claims on our Intrinsic brand fungicides. No other company can show you this level of disease control and plant health research and science behind their products. See and read it for yourself, it can be found here.
Do your research and if it’s not an Intrinsic brand fungicide, Caveat Emptor.
